Start with the final sale price
The sale price used for payout math should be the final cleared sale amount, shown in US dollars. Auction bids can move quickly, so estimates are useful, but the final record should reflect the completed sale.
Subtract marketplace fees
eBay fees come out before the client receives proceeds. For the current admin calculator, the eBay Store trading-card fee is estimated at 12.35% up to $7,500, then 2.35% above $7,500.
Apply the Card Consignor fee
The Card Consignor fee is tiered by sale price. Higher-value cards use a lower percentage, while lower-value individual cards carry a higher percentage because the handling work is similar.
Account for item-level deductions
Materials, added insurance, returns, refunds, and special adjustments should be itemized. That keeps the payout understandable and avoids mixing one card's costs into another card's record.
