The process is review-first: submit details, wait for acceptance, then mail only approved items with the required box note and tracking.
What cards can I submit?
Card Consignor reviews Pokemon, Magic: The Gathering, Disney Lorcana, One Piece, and other TCG singles or slabs. During launch, cards starting around $25 expected sale value can be reviewed, with $50+ still the best individual-card fit.
Do you accept graded packs and sealed booster boxes?
Yes, if they are authentic, clean, in demand, and worth listing individually. Do not mail graded packs or sealed booster boxes until they are accepted in the portal.
Do you accept raw cards?
Yes. Raw cards are reviewed case by case based on condition, demand, expected sale value, and whether individual handling makes sense.
Do you accept sports cards?
Not as the standard service focus right now. Card Consignor is built around TCG cards and related TCG items unless something is approved in writing.
When do I mail cards?
Only after Card Consignor accepts the specific items in the portal. Unapproved shipments may be returned at the sender's expense or declined.
What do I put in the box?
After acceptance, include your name, email, submission ID, and any fixed-price target that applies. Pack cards securely and add USPS tracking in the portal after mailing.
How are auctions vs fixed price chosen?
The selling route is chosen after review. Auctions work best when market demand should decide the price. Fixed price works better when a card has a firm target and enough value to justify a longer listing runway.
Can I set a fixed price?
Yes, but fixed-price listings require an agreed $250+ target price. Include the target in the portal and on the box note after acceptance.
Can auctions start at 99 cents?
Yes, when that strategy is approved. A 99-cent no-reserve auction can help strong-demand items find market price, but it is not the right route for every card.
Who pays eBay fees?
The payout chart shows Card Consignor's split before eBay marketplace fees. eBay marketplace fees are deducted from the final sale before payout.
When do I get paid?
Payout is handled after the eBay sale clears and return, claim, chargeback, or dispute risk is resolved. The portal keeps payout status tied to the accepted item.
What happens if a card does not sell?
Unsold cards may be relisted, repriced, moved to a different selling format, returned, or handled by written agreement.
Can I change the price later?
Price changes can be requested, but changes are not guaranteed once a listing is in motion. Fixed-price targets should be included before the item is listed.
What happens if a buyer returns a card?
Payout is not final until return and dispute risk is resolved. Refunds, returns, claims, chargebacks, and related costs may affect final payout.
How is insurance handled?
Added insurance may be used when the sale warrants it and is deducted at cost. The sender is responsible for packing, tracking, and insurance until the package is delivered to Card Consignor.
